So it would be my perception that citing this material to support the argument you attribute to it is not fruitfull. In construct it would be cheaper to kill someone (sooner the better/cheaper) than let them remain in prison for decades. |
The majority of the costs of the death penalty are not from awaiting sentencing but from the court costs. It costs relatively little to keep somebody in prison however the costs of court are extremely large
