LOL So wait...Knowing a game is going to release over the cycle of a console is the same as it being a launch title now? And Gears of War was a new IP in development, not an established IP when the 360 launched.
And since when do consoles try to compete directly with PC(s) and why would the next Xbox or any console need to be positioned as such? I for one am not a PC gamer and I am sure MANY console owners do not game on a PC....I am sorry, but with each and every post your logic becomes more and more flawed....

Like I have said before, if the execs over at Sony share the same illogical assumptions as you, it's no surprise Sony is in the position it is in.
Go post a resume over at Sony...you may just get an exec position regardless of your qualifications.
