In this thread was discussed how much cash reserves Apple has, and the market value of Sony. If those numbers were true. then Apple could buy Sony. They do have the money for it. Sony is now bleeding a lot of money. Blu-Ray won the format war, but hasn't broken through yet. And the economy being what it is, the adoption rate of Blu-Ray could slow.
