To buy into a company with 160,000 employees, big debt, and a gazillion product lines in which you have no interest, and several are competitiive, to get a trademark that is at the moment somewhat tarnished and a few studios, not unless they were totally insane. I actually think Grampy's post is spot on. I am sure Apple has no reason or desire to purchase Sony.

 

And Grampy's reasons seem very valid.
