LOL. You will see the sun rise in the West before you will see that thought even cross their mind. Iwata would wake up in a cold sweat if this even occured in his worst nightmare.
Sony represents everything they DON'T want: big debt, unprofitable, huge workforce, huge product line not related to Nintendo's core. I can't think of a single thing Sony has that they want. It would be like a devout Muslim wanting to buy Jimmy Dean sausage.
