I bought the PS3 because I love the Sony first party titles and I'm a big Final Fantasy / MGS fan. Even though that's multi, it's coming to Japan first (I know some Japanese) and Versus is as of now exclusive. Also, I was waiting for a format that was better than DVD before I started buying movies. Blu-ray did the job.
I bought a 360 for jRPGs only. Fable 2 and ToV are the only games I really like on the 360 right now. Lost Odyssey is a runner up with a few issues. Star Ocean 4 will probably be the next one. My friends love to come over and play Gears and Halo, so I do have them in my library. I rarely play those two games myself.
Well, the Wii. I don't see too much point in owning one before Dragon Quest X. I like Nintendo and Sony as companies much better than I like MS. All my friends have a Wii, so I can always play it when I want for Brawl.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
