Why not just copy the pics from the Ps3 to flas disk to PC?

Less mess, less fuss lol.

The other way around would, as has been said before, to use the media server functionality on the PS3 and try to get Vista firewall and related services to allow Media Player 11 to see it.

That way can just lead to madness sometimes though, so I'd go the flashdisk route.

 

 I have the media server up and running. But I don't know how to get the pics from the PS3 to the PC  (NOT from the PC to the PS3)

I largest memory card I have is 2gigs, and the PS3 backup says I need 8 more gigs of space, so I'm trying to just transfer my wedding pics to the PC.
