The worst part of this argument is that I can name at least 4 titles on the top of my head coming this year that are much, MUCH better looking than both Killzone 2 and Crysis combined, although not more techincally advanced. Actually, they're all pretty much one man projects. I guess that's why they are so freaking goodlooking. I find both Killzone 2 and Crysis to be moderatly good looking.
Beauty is not in the technique, but in the mind of the beholder.
