It's not too expensive for what it is, but it is too expensive for what people want it for, and the economy has only made this more pronounced.

The drop for the PS3 vs last December is I believe a function of the economy and people cutting their spending vs a true drop in potential demand.

The simple fact is my US folks right now would rather spend less and get an HD console without Blu-Ray rather than spend more for an HD console with Blu-Ray.

Sony are simply faced with letting the PS3 sell to the demand at its current price or cutting the price below its value to attract people who want one but aren't fussed about BR as being worth paying more for.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
