that the Wii is prettier
The Wii is a white block. The controlers have nice industrial design and its a vast improvement over the Gamecube but pretty would be the last adjective I would have for the Wii. Clean, functional perhaps. boring is definitely also somewhere included. The same is true for the interface.
The PS3 is a bit too big but it has nice lines, black is the new black and the white one looks also very nice. And the XMB is the most beautiful interface . I think we can all agree that the 360 is the ugliest, it looks like a old dell computer.
Regarding the article I think its pretty much true, the PS3 caters excellently to a specific target group but it needs some more vulgar titles like Carnival games the Wii is so great at producing that cater to a much bigger audience. It also desperately needs a price cut to compete with MS for the hardcore gamers that do not care about the looks but want the best gaming bang for their bucks.
