Why wouldnt SE hype the game if its coming out this year in Japan? wtf are you talking about, Gatorgamer88?
What for the western release date - if you seriously have been expecting the game to hit US an Europe in 2009 then that's your problem. the game's developers have never promised you anything like that.
And in case you havent noticed, Final Fantasy games always come out in the West 5-7 months after the japanese releases. So your "it's all because of 360 port!!!111" sounds like a fanboyism to me.
