This comparison by cnet helped me it also helped me choose the system when they said in one of their vids "we think xbox 360 great deal around 300 dollars we are choosing the ps3 for our tops holiday pick"
And the editors at cnet rate ps3 a 8.7 and rate 360 8.5 it may not seem much of a diffrence ,but they critisized ps3 for being a bit expensive and not having ps2 backwards compatibilites. But none of them were a probelm to me cuz i was able to get 1 system for free and i have a ps2 already.
And looking at 2008 game lineup looked like ps3 had the upper hand because cnet show top 10 games of 2008 (made sure had at least 1 exclusive for each platform) ps3 had 3 exclusive and 360 only had 1 which was gears 2 of course and gametrailers and ign said ps3 had best software lineup 2008.
