True 1080p is needed this generation, Sony will leave the PS3 on the market for a long time and they have thought ahead, while the guys over at Microsoft have have been forced to add tons of stuff to their system to compete, 120gb HDD, HDMI, another heatsink.

The xbox can't do 1080p from what i have heard, they use HDMI to upscale the image or something. Plus the wii is last gen technology, wii fans already want a HDD, DVD/blu-ray/HD-DVD add-ons, plus lots of stuff the system was not made for. The wii is very close to the same specs of the first Xbox, and still lacks in several locations as Shaders and some other stuff.

Within 3 years all new TV's will be 1080p, and MS/Nintendo will be left behind to fail with the crap they made.

Well it seems PS3 Hype stroke again... The Xbox 360 can do 1080p since last fall update (thas was just in time for Wii and PS3 launches) Here is the list that i have done with just the games i have in stock in my shop. They are all checked having 1080p on the back of the box : Bioshock Call of Juarez Command & Conquer 3 Colin McRae Dirt Def Jam Icon (announced as 1080p native) Flatout Ultimate Carnage Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter II Monster Madness Moto GP 07 NBA Street Homecourt (announced as 1080p native) Overlord Shadow Run Spiderman 3 Stuntman Ignition Transformers Virtua Tennis 3 (announced as 1080p native) Of course for most of these titles, we have no information to know if they are 1080p native or not but the fact is they can be played in 1080p. And also, please stop thinking Hdmi is needed for 1080p, all Xbox 360 can output 1080p with vga or yuv cables. Bye.

Zones : I still don't understand all the love for Blizzard, what was the last game they developed worth playing?
