| GranTurismo said: True 1080p is needed this generation, Sony will leave the PS3 on the market for a long time and they have thought ahead, while the guys over at Microsoft have have been forced to add tons of stuff to their system to compete, 120gb HDD, HDMI, another heatsink. The xbox can't do 1080p from what i have heard, they use HDMI to upscale the image or something. Plus the wii is last gen technology, wii fans already want a HDD, DVD/blu-ray/HD-DVD add-ons, plus lots of stuff the system was not made for. The wii is very close to the same specs of the first Xbox, and still lacks in several locations as Shaders and some other stuff. Within 3 years all new TV's will be 1080p, and MS/Nintendo will be left behind to fail with the crap they made. |
Wow... just wow.... 1080p is needed ??? RIIIIIIIGHT !!! You just ceep believing that while 95% of all gamers will say: (A) Who cares. (B) Where is the difference? (C) 1080waht???
Wii is last gen tech.... again RIIIIIGHT !!! We´ve been over this a lot, you can´t just put XBOX and Wii specs next to each other and say they are almost the same system regarding power... why don´t you say a GPU with 256mb from five years ago is as good as todays GPUs with 256mb.... it doesn´t work that way.
Best part of your text is the one about Wii fans wanting HDDs and blue-ray, HD-DVD add-ons.... wow, thats why they bought a Wii so they can ceep paying for stuff they don´t need for gaming.... this is why the Wii is selling like hotcakes, it cut the stuff not needed and focuses on the gaming experiance.
Last part is just good old fashion trolling, MS/Nintendo make crap....ok....in three years the world will be fully enlightend by 1080p....(what resolution will Killzone 2 have again ???) everything else will be considred outdated and weak....and we all know the weakest console has never won a generation.
