1080p is great for a lot of games, just not ones that have huge open environments.
That said, this thread is the first that I think should be tossed out because it's just plain stupid.
You can't change the specs of the PS3 because what would you do to older owners? Also, the only framerate issues (and I'm not aware of this allegedly widespread problem) are software problems.
By next year EA will have figured it out. They are always slow on the uptake. Meanwhile I hope Factor 5 makes a new game and redeems themselves, although my final judgement of the game will remain until I rent it...
