Also the problem isn't that something is like Star Wars. It's that Star Wars uses such a classic set of story elements that in reality you could compare many many RPG games to Star Wars.

 

 

Yeah just like Mario is a copy from Star Wars too! You use the power through mushrooms and flowers to save the princess from the emperor Bowser, but then the Princess joins the fight in Super Mario Bros 2! Then In SMB3 there were flying airships on the last set of levels! And who doesn't remember that Donkey Kong was the bad guy at the beginning but ended being a good guy just like Darth Vader! And last but not least you have Super Mario Galaxy! It's in space so it's a copy from Star Wars right?

Sorry I had to do it, I know this post makes fun of my OP but I still stand that FFXII's story is too much like Star Wars'...
