Classes are nothing new.

I love classes in my multiplayer shooters, the trick is balancing them. I don't think anybody has done a better job of balance than TF2.

Of course it is, soldiers need spec ops for ammo and shields, spec ops need medics for heals.

 

Medic doesn't need either. It can heal itself and its main weapon has infinite ammo, it can tank a Titan withotu any support from other players, that is how overpowered it is, love to see a soldier or spec ops try that.

yeah, you can kill anyonthing by yourself with a medic, but it will take you forever.  it's much faster playing with all 3 classes, and spec ops can give you grenades and shotgun ammo as well.
