no cheap rewards for doing well, nope...the airbot can be summoned anywhere outdoors and will wander around the area it's spawned from shooting at people. You can only have 1 out at a time and there's a cooldown period to bring it back or reposition it. Airbots are a secondary ability, too, so once you complete a certain goal...I think it's just bringing one out...other classes can use it.
Turrets you can have 3 at a time and there's a similar cooldown. It's sometimes useful to suicide so the cooldown goes away because your turret stays when you die. I believe the airbot does as well.
