Really? Last week when I downloaded that MGS4 demo to my PS3 it must have been a dream I had.

 

I thought we were talking about demos that released before the game to entice people to buy it, I should have worded that better :P

While you are correct that it does have a demo, that actually came out just recently. November 6th to be exact, which is about 5 months after the game released. Not sure how much good it did :P

 

I played it and it showed me that the strengths of MGS really can't be shown in the demo. Without the awesome story to back it up with, MGS really doesn't feel all that special at all. It's been playing catch-up gameplay wise for years and hasn't exactly reached the tip top as of yet, IMO. I can't wait to pick up the game though. Newegg has it for 46.99 with free shipping. I think I'll order from there.

 

 

MGS4 had top notch gameplay, imo.  Nothing else like it.

Anyway, all the whiners can stop.  There's a demo for everybody, but they are trying to get preorders and this is a good way to do it.
