at the same time the excessively negative talk will die down aswell and there shall be peace in the communities around the world (well, until the next hugely expected game arises that is)

 

I hope you're right.

Yet having this huge number of threads (especially if its got no new info) on any game is enough to start pissing people off to a point where they'll start to ignore or even hate the game unduly.

I suppose thats the root of my problem with "over hype" on forums.

By all means, hype up a game if you're excited, but be careful to not reach a point where people will just start to get pissed off.
