So what if a game isnt as good as the hype? what does it matter?, in any event some people are going to think that it is better than the hype and some are going to think it is alot worse, its called individual opinion, and stating that a game is overhyped when you havent actually played it is the subject of much hyperbole.
There is no 'problem with these sites' as you put it, games have been hyped up since games existed, if a game is getting hyped from a genre, developer, or heaven forbid a system that you have a particular dislike for, then that is an issue for you to deal with personally.
Not everybody needs a group therapy session every time they end up a little disappointed by a game, they are merely forms of entertainment, a little perspective is in order i think.
