Are there any good reasons why this couldn't happen?
They've made GTA games in shorter amounts of time before. Besides, it's not like they couldn't have started development on the next GTA game even before being finished with GTA4. They have a much larger grasp of GTA4's engine, which they can use for the next game (hopefully with some changes though). Considering that the Grand Theft Auto series is one of Take Two's main cash cows, it doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.
