@wfz

Im sorry we disagree.

You may find shaking the wii mote more fun than pushing A. Or you may find flailing left, right, left with the wii mote controller is more fun than pushing A, A, B. Thats personal prefference and I'm not saying you are wrong.

But even you can't disagree that the ps360 version has 5X the polish and care put in to it.

The 3D world levels are terrible on the wii because they are picture and text based, you just push A until the text stops and the gmae lets you actually play. The hub levels are completely unecessary...jsut a room before the actual levels. On the 360, atleast they have platforming and paths that open as you get powerups which is fun to figure out. The whole last level (called Eggman land or something - best part of the game!!) is missing from the Wii version as well as Mazuri world. Animations are straight out of PS2 game from 2003.

You can find it more fun which is cool...but for someone that is indifferent if a game uses motion controls or regular controller (aka me), the ps360 is head and sholders above the Wii version.

Interesting... you haven't played the Wii version have you? Seems like you're hardly fit to judge the game. Sure the visuals are worse, the hub worlds pointless, but the level design imo was more fun in the Wii version.

Also, Eggmanland is in the wii version, and it is by FAR my favorite stage. You really should just find someone who has the game and play that stage if you can, it's great!

I also dislike how you have to switch between the Sonic and his werehog form mid-level in the 360 version, but that's just my personal taste.

It does really suck that Mazuri was cut (as a level) and I was pretty pissed off about that, but if I just forget that it should be in the Wii version, I'm fine. :P

Oh and the Empire City stage was the other one that was cut from the Wii version, I think that's the one you meant to say. I was really really pissed off about that too, but oh well. When it comes down to it, I just like plowing through the Wii day stages more than the 360, and that's all it really boils down to for me.

Thus far I rescued 3 continetns on the Wii version. I was told egmanland was cut...my appologies for that. I will look forward to playing this.

The werehog levels I do prefer on the Wii (love throwing those crates) but the sense of speed that sonic levels give on the 360 (on a big tv) just blows me away. the Wii version doens't look good on my TV at all and thats a big turn off. I boot up Sonic and Secret Rings and scratch my head about why couldn't they use that games engine... Few other issues I have with the wii version, such as lack of dual analogs which means you have to follow the auto camera which sometimes acts like a spazz.

In any case, before more people crucify me know that I paid for both games. I am not sorry I did and am supporting Sega here in a big way...lol...even though they seem to think that Wii version was a quick buck. I prefer the 360 due to visuals, animations and 3d hubs and continent world. I understand if someone likes the motion controls and other features the wii has... But I do maintain that its really hard to argue that the Wii version is superior as its the same game that obviously has more taken out than they put in.

EDIT - looks like wii is missing Empire City as well. I must have misunderstood what my friend said and thought Empire Sity is "Egmanland". My bad.
