George Carlin put it best. "I reserve pride for something I personally achieve. I never understood racial, or national pride. Some folks proud to be italians, others irish. How can you be proud of something that is an accident of birth? You wouldn't be proud to have a disposition to colon cancer would you? Be happy if you are an American.
