That flies in the face of what would be more profitable for Sony. They can much easier make a profit on software than on hardware (unless they don't cut prices in which case they may not sell enough). Software is almost the only thing they make a profit on right now (accessories too).

what a year we have now starting from kz2... going to re5, wkc, ff13 and maybe GT5 god of war 3 at the end of the year.

They should definitely try to get out all of those (well the 1st party ones) during this year. That would get them some much needed cash.

 

 

like GTA expect GT5 to bring huge revenue, sony may even post a profit out of it.
