Leveling up in FPSes really doesnt do it for me, and Vlad has more or less mentioned all the problems i have with it.It makes no sense to award better weapons to player with better skills. What would have made sense was giving the noobs the best weapons to choose from, and stripping down as time went by, till they are left with the very basic weaponry(at a level beyond which everyone should have similar skills).
"The accumulated filth of all their sex and murders will foam up about their waist and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"...
....and I'll look down and whisper "no."
