Sony have done all the hard work. The gaming industry is booming even in a time of recession, the Ps3 is getting cheaper to produce and the ps3 is selling at a great rate ensuring a large hardware foundation so games have the potential to sell quite well on the Ps3 and make lots of profit.
So it's really up to the Devs now to see how much they can test the power of the Ps3. All I see this recession doing to sony is eating into their borrowing and spending power a bit delaying research and developement of the Ps4 which isn't a bad thing because I want my Ps3 to have a nice long life as the most powerfull console.
Viva La Ps3! The thought of it being "discontinued" is riddiculous
