I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft tried to exploit Sony's weak state by offering to purchase famous IPs or studios from them. Right now Sony owns around 8% of Square-Enix Holdings. I'm sure Microsoft would love to get that 8% and use it to leverage even more exclusives from Square-Enix Holdings.
