Megaman 9 was rehashed crap, its not even that fun, its so transparently slapped together, all they did was recycle levels and sprites from previous games.

Also, Megaman Z was awesome in addition to ZX (though Z4 was lacking).

Megaman Legends were mediocre but the fact we got gimped versions didn't help. It's just insult to injury.

The Battlenetwork crap sucks. Don't turn Megaman into Pokemon/Digimon/Yu-Gi-Oh.

Megaman X has been a lost cause ever since it left the SNES. No single Megaman series has been so ruined by localizing risk management.

Don't expect anything else out of ZX, for some reason Capcom seems to have no ambition to continue it. Also, if a lazy hack job like Megaman 9 is your ideal of quality, then by all means open wide for the rehashed virtual content revolution coming our way.

Now that Capcom knows low investment, low risk crap like Megaman 9 can sell, what incentive do they have to actually try for anything more than that?

Eh, I'm not going to argue over MM9.  Some will like it, some won't.  YMMV.

The is one that we're seeing the effects of on titles across the board and not just Capcom.  Of course, it doesn't mean much to scream to developers to pull their collective heads out of their rears and make high quality games for the Wii when they're too busy counting money from cheap cashins and spinoffs...

Still, MM9 made a lot of people happy and shows that Capcom hasn't completely forgotten the origin of Megaman and what made it popular in the first place.  Between that and ZX, I have some hope.  More hope than I have for a good Sonic game at any rate.

that's fair. Hope is yours to have and you are entitled to that. But please don't mistake Capcom's "not completely forgetting the origin of Megaman" as being anything more significant than a company knowing how to cash-in on cheap nostalgia.

Sonic Games suck because Team Sonic admitted in a blog that they hate making Sonic Games but Sega won't let them do anything else.

I would thank someone of the opinion that Star Ocean 4 is anything worth anticipating given Square-Enix's progressive decline, Star Ocrean 3's questionable calibur and Tri-Ace's track record as an underperforming developer not to question my sensibilities in gaming. Not to be rude, but I'm just saying is all.
