B sorta,
its actually more like this:
some Wii fans (past nintendo fans) bash HD fans (360/PS3 fans) due to having been bashed for 2 generations.
PS3 fans bash 360 fans due to wanting to remain viable in the race.
360 fans bash PS3 fans because PS3 fans bash 360 fans.
Both 360 and Ps3 fans ignore Wii fans because Wii has been selling at an "unquestionable" rate for years and they don't understand why.
you should also keep in mind that Nintendo fans have been dealing with Sony hate for 2 generations and now 360 fans are dealing with Sony hate. Microsoft also owns Rare who Nintendo fans loved and Microsoft still allows them to make games for the handhelds. Microsoft also has a lot of respect for Nintendo so much so that Bill Gates himself pretty much told Nintendo to name their price during the Gamecube era. Then even Microsoft themselves jumped on the Wii60 band wagon and complimented Wii's achievements. Microsoft also did not contest Nintendo's most lucrative asset, the handhled market, at a time when Nintendo was at its weakest. Microsoft also didn't copy nearly all of Nintendo's most successful control ideas and claim them as their own. I would say that the only thing Microsoft has done severely bad to Nintendo is ignore them being a player in the last generation even though sales were so close, but that is just commercial spin. So there is much more bringing Wii and 360 people together in this.
