Cute. Actually Lara's Creed does make a good point. It would be great to be able to have Lara explore the living environment of times past rather than just ruins.
However, I think Eidos might be onto something. Women do seem to love TombRaider when they play it, but it largely gets ignored by them because it's percieved to be aimed at the guys (Love at Wii sales which has the largest percent of female gamers). If they can make Lara the face of female empowerment then perhaps they can find a new large and relatively untapped audience. But it won't be all that easy. Women don't just love puzzle games, they love addictive puzzle games and that requires more effort than Crystal Dynamics have put into any Lara title thus far.

If Eidos can successful tap the women's market they can indeed put Lara back on top of the charts. But that may be far harder than they're expecting it to be.
