Why I appreciate Nintendo making games for adults. (Rant ahoy!)

I find myself in the same shoes as the OP, hardcore kid/teen gamer turn into family man with little time to play, i do not play online games like resistance, gears halo ect, because the time needed to be competitive, i don't have the time to play 4-5 hours per day, can't even do that per week now, and i don't like going online for 30 mins to be fodder, i find the only game this gen i have been able jump online and put up a good fight with lilttle playing time is Soul Calibur 4, i think mostly because i played Soul Calibur and Soul Calibur 2 alot and they have not changed the moves and mechanics much.
