I have more issues with 360's framerate issues than with Wii's graphics... 480p graphics are good enough with good art direction.
I use a 32'' TV, but TV size shouldn't matter too much unless you're sitting really near it. Depending on the viewing distance, resolution becomes much less important or even a non-factor.
