It's hard for me though.
I can't look at people if I don't really know them, or if I'm nervous and/or embarassed (maybe I don't like what I'm wearing that day, or maybe I have cotton in my hair).

Well, when you look at someone right in the eyes, you show them that you care about them and what they're saying. It's just going to be better for the relationship, it will create good links (at least from my personal experience).
And when they look at you, you know they care. That's how I see it! ^^

I also get nervous looking at people in the eyes. I usually look at them for a second or two, just so they know that I'm paying atention and then keep looking wherever my eyes land. I get a little uncomnfortable when people keep looking at my eyes all the time as well.

lol have any of you guys ever tried to send subliminal messages through your eyes when your looking at some one. Like you know how people say you can tell what some ones thinking or feels by looking into their eyes? So when I was in highschool and was talking to elligable girls I would be thinking really hard "you are so hot! damn your amazing! I love you so much etc" in my mind... but nothing ever happened hahahahahaha but it was fun any way, and worth the experiment lol
