You can't simply blame translations for delayed PAL releases. The main reason for delays are still adjustments to run the games on 50 Hz TVs and that publishers see the PAL market as the least important one out of the 3 major markets. There are plenty of games that keep english screentexts (also quite a lot of RPGs from smaller publishers) but are still released months after the american release.

The PAL version of Ocarina of Time was released within weeks of the japanese and american versions, although a Zelda game has plenty of screentexts. If publishers want to release games nearly simultaneous, they can if they start working on the translation already a few months before the game is finished. It's just that most of the time publishers don't think it's worth the effort to aim for a worldwide launch.

I guess thats why some of my games in my gaming libary actualy can only be played on a 60 Hz tv...I don't care why we don't get the games in time but when we pay almost 70 USD for a game before VAT I think that we could get some games in time. Devlope the 50 Hz on the same time then!
