Your reasoning was still flawed, because if LBP sold less... you'd suddenly enjoy the game less.

Simple.  The logical conclusion was that Gamespot found out it meant sold and reported it as such, hence changing their liveblog... since why else would you change it?

You chose to go with IGN because you wanted LBP to sell more so you would still enjoy it as much as you do.
