I have been seeing the demo videos for Killzone 2, and it is appears to be miles and miles of GREY and brown, and the environment looks uniformally the same, and BORING. Outside of, "WOW, look at the EXPLOSIONS and FIRE and ANIMATION and PARTICLES FLYING ALL OVER and DUST", what exactly is appealing here? I don't get the motivation at all for invading or why anyone would want such a sorry state. The entire thing feels like there is a GIANT plot twist set up near the end, where you realize the invaders are actually pure evil, and the Helghans are right to feel persecuted.
Even if this is a breakthrough in technical prowless, with a ton of bells and whistles, and a cool engine, from an ARTISTIC perspective, can anyone explain why this is supposed to be first rate? Gears 2 and Resistance 2 both look like they have better artistic design, as does Uncharted.
And someone goes and says it looks better that Crysis? Such undo hyping causes myself to look extra critically at it, asking things like: "Is this REALLY better looking than Crysis?"
Ok, so can someone explain why Helghast is worth invading.

In the most recent preview release they got rid of all the grey :P it's just brown now

If it is all brown now, there is a risk that the UPS "What can Brown do for you?" will be respond by some hardcore fanboys with: "Bury Microsoft and kill Halo!"

Wow. What an iciteful awesme non trollish comment. :P Anyways, it's fairly obvious your little more then a fanboy yourself. You make a thread with little purpose more then to nitpick the shit out of a game. Where was your thread on the brown/grey in COD4 and many other shooters? War is often portrayed as a dark gritty place. Also, you say no matter what it would look better then Halo 3, but did you voice any negative comments about this game? It's pretty obvious your overanalyzing a game looking for flaws due to the fact that you won't be able to play this game on your 360. Your claims are pretty rediculous. We don't need WHAT IF threads. If "what if" were the only requirements for making a valuable thread, this forum would go to shit.
