Mike B. this is the most BS list I have ever seen. First forgetting that compression rates are different by codec DVD is actually up to 8 mbits per second smart encoding allows a variable bit rate that is much smaller. Also the average BD disc is NOT 54 Mbits/sec. In fact no where near it. It is closer to 18-26 Mbits with peaks of up to 54 Mbits a sec and once again it depends on wether they are using H.264, VC-1, or Mpeg2. In fact you show the average for HD-DVD for MPEG-2.
