Good. For my part I thought the 6th generation (gamecube, xbox, PS2) was far shorter than it could have been. The PS2 and xbox were really starting to get good towards the end of it! The same couldn't be said for the Gamecube though, but I still enjoyed it.
I hope this generation lasts a long time. Sure, computer games will start to make the console games look old, but looks shouldn't really matter that much for a game anyways, and it'll force devs to work on art style rather than technical merit with regards to graphics.
