I've played for 10 hours, and the controls are great. I'll break it down: Easy: grabing, punching, draging a guy, and throwing the guy, hitting with the bat(really really fun, you know how many times I'm running to the next mission and I pass a mobster from another mob and they say, "your not welcome around here!" and I just take out my bat and beat him. It's seriously too addictive, I've used the bat in this game more then I've used my bat in 2k7 mlb) Tricky: choking(it usually goes down, it's just a little tricky), Neck snapping don't always work right, but it's fine for the most part, It may even be me getting it wrong. Setting bombs is also easy and I'm a few skill points away from getting the pistol whip move.(skill points are like cool little rpg points where you can get extra abillities) Driving is easy, and the shooting is perfect, it has lock on where the motion controls contribute slightly when aiming at the part of the body you want to shoot, then there is free aim mode too. What's also awesome about this game, is you can ignore the story alltogether and wage war with all of Manhatten, NJ, and Brooklyn if you want. You can hire a bunch of guys to come with you and just go to another mobs compond and take on an army. Or just knock off one of their posts, or rackets. And with the extortions, cameraman, shakedown, hits, favors, crime fighitng, bank robbing you can do, there is all kind of great scenarios for all the motion controls. For example a hit that has to look like an accident gives you a great chance to do the grab and throw. You take the guy on the roof drag him to the edge and throw him. Using the bat to smash up a store is also great.
