JGarret - I wasn't trying to imply that the PS3 only got 1 exclusive a year. I was implying that most Playstation 3 owners were buying 1 exclusive a year. I apologize if my statement did not show that more easily.
And that's kind of the issue I take up with this: Playstation owners are so ravenous with their accusations of every non-1st party exclusive going to the PS3 it's sickening. My argument is that instead of posting in every news thread about a 360 exclusive, they should buy a 360 and buy all the games that they keep hoping come out for the PS3, rather than get the few exclusives the Playstation has - and with tier ratios and software sales that we've seen, most Playstation 3 owners are buying 1 or maybe 2 exclusives a year, and buying a hefty number of multi-plat titles in comparison.
Furthermore, down the thread, that was the point of my topic: I bought quite a few 'argued about' titles this year - PS3 owners kept arguing that they were going to get IU, TLR, ToV and others...Whereas I actually bought them this year. That was my argument: Why complain and hope for ports, when you can get them all immediately?
Maybe it's just my grizzled rememberances of the N64 days when everything went to the Playstation 1, but I think there's a point that every fan - regardless of system - needs to come to the reailization that, instead of hoping for a port, they need to buy the system that offers the most, regardless of the name in front of it, regardless if it's a Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo or other companies' device.
I apologize that I put '1' exclusive, I thought that I had put 1-2 or 1-3, but only put one - it was NOT my intent to say that the Playstation 3 only got one exclusive a year - only that most users bought a small handful compared to what the 360 had for exclusives.
