That is a good point.
My point still remains however that blu-ray is behind DVD. Even the FAQ numbers point to that fact.
What's even more impressive is the fact that Blu-ray has been carried everywhere since the start.
When DVD launched it was only in select stores across the US in 97... like circuit cities and Best Buys.
Targets and K-Marts didn't get on the bus till later....
and Wal-Mart... the biggest retailer in America I believe didn't have DVD in stock until 1999.
