Unlikely the ps3 will outsell the 360 even the week of release, unless there's a price drop.
If there is a bump, it'll be small. It's mostly hardcore gamers that know about the game at this point, and we either already own a ps3, will pick one up a few weeks before launch like SamuelRSmith's friend, or won't be getting a ps3 for this game.
If it effects sales amongst more mainstream gamers (not Wii mainstream, but last gen mainstream - your GTA/Madden/Halo guys), it'll happen slowly, as word of mouth about this game spreads.
And I fully expect this thread to be mentioned after release as a reason why the game flopped in sales.
