1) It's simple to learn, so anyone can play it.

You sure about that?

2) Including grandparents.

actually grandparents probably have an advantage because of experience.

3) There is no blood or gore (calm down nerds I'm not talking about battle chess)

4) There is no storyline

5) Game sites are calling Chess casual.

6) It's sold a ton of copies.

Chess - casual game for the masses?

Bonus question:  Can you name one game *before* video games that was hardcore?

give it up. majority of wii is games and owners are casual. even more so than chess, as impossible as that is to believe.

You can like it without having to prove its worth to us. You bought it and so did a lot of other people. Therefore it must be worth something. End of story. You don't need to justify your purchase.

Yeah, we get it. You like the wii.

So because I like Wii, I'm not allowed to wonder how people define casual and hardcore?

PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)
