I hope for your sake you picked up the newer quiet 360's cause the older ones quite are loud. If you get a HDD you can install the games on it for virtually noise free operation.
But anyway welcome to the club. 360 has loads of good games not out on the PS3 and many of the cross platform games are superior on the 360 (buy Half Life 2 on 360 if you haven't already played it).
I want a PS3 at some point but not till the price comes down. The Cell looks like it can generate superior physics compared to the proccessor in the 360 hence LPB and Killzone 2 when taken advantage of.
