| c0rd said: @mibuokami: My only point was, the fact that Nintendo is targetting everyone shouldn't limit their ability to please the PS360 crowd. You bring up the Mortal Kombat days like it's still relevant, but Nintendo has learned from Sega/Sony and has changed stance on that issue (it was more sensitive back then anyway, as the public was new to violent games). If the next Nintendo console also leads in sales and is close graphical power to its competition, franchises like GTA, FF, DMC, etc. should sell fine on their system. Theoretically, the PS360 crowd shouldn't be left behind. I'm mainly talking about third parties. I know there are those that would prefer Sony or Microsoft's exclusives over Nintendo's. Still, it's not as if the teenage / young adult males aren't into Zelda, Brawl, Mario Kart, etc. Heck, back in the N64 days, Goldeneye was pretty much the Halo of its time. Btw, I know why you dislike the Wii, I wasn't trying to argue against it. I still think that, due to the userbase, it has by far the most potential for its future lineup (helps that I tend to lean toward Japanese games).

Oh I have no bias against Nintendo as a company, I just dislike the wii as a console personally. I concede that MK is no longer a valid argument, it was merely meant to highlight the point that Nintendo was and still is conservative (they do this intentionally). Nintendo is definitely not limited in their ability to please the PS360 crowd, but the PS360 does a better job of it right now anyways, so there is no incentive to get the wii (for me at least).
I have no allegiance to any company, I go where the games I like are, and if the next Nintendo system have the games I particularly want I will purchase it. Currently though and with regards to the future wii lineup, there are very little games on the system that sparks my interest.
And now we are well and truly off topic; in celebration of my violent gaming root, I give thee:
