No. The reason for 360 hate in Japan is actually from the United States-Japan Treaty of Amity and Commerce. The Japanese have never gotten over the unfair and one sided treaty that the US essentially forced Japan to sign 150 years ago, and they have chosen to take out their anger on the 360.
