Im pretty baffled that they expect their games to sell 2~3 million (talking primarily about HD consoles) and yet they keep them on the 360.

Infinite and Last Remnant sank away quick in Japan, while another JRPG that supposedly isnt very highly regarded sold WAY MORE... I wonder how Wada feels about that. I have no words for Wada's vision. Its close to obvious that their relationship to Microsoft is based on alot of funding.

I just hope Shuhei approaches Square about doing something similiar to that Infinite Undiscovery deal.

With the recent sales of WKC, Sony has enough proof to persuade developers to start making way for their HD RPGs onto the PS3.

And that userbase comment feels like a really weak counter-arguement to why they shouldn't sell em on the PS3. Something I read alot lately on various forums, it feels distaste just reading that atempt to discredit the PS3.

Personally I believe JRPGs belong on the PS3 & Wii.

You know how many Square Enix JRPGs sold 2 million or more on the PS2?

4.

Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 2.

Thats it.

If 2-3 Million is your bar... PS3 isn't going to cut it... (outside of the aforementioend DQ, FF and KH2.)

Even if the PS3 was the next PS2 it wouldn't cut it.

The Wii is the only hope for such numbers... being the PS2+... and i'd say even that would be tough for JRPGs unless a lot of the expanded audience in the west begins to like JRPGs.  (Which i could see... what with the move at your own pace turn battles.)

They just need to make cheaper games.
