Anyone that doesn't own either NG or NG2 can never ever complain about casual games doing well. NG gameplay is ridiculously polished. The combat system in NG is enough to put most beat em ups to shame and even though im a huge fan of DMC I still maintain that the NG combat system makes DMCs seem very poor. Hell often when playing SC4 I find myself thinking ''Why aren't I just playing NG2 =/ it's actually 3d and the fighting system is just as good''
NG is a game where if you die there is only ever 1 reason and that is because you weren't good enough. Some people moan about the camera, but the camera is always under your control, if it's in the wrong place then change it.
No other game even comes close to touching NG gameplay in terms of refinement. NG2 is the pure essence of gameplay. If you like action games and own HS, DMC4,GoW or any other game and not NG2 then you made the wrong choice.
The only negative I can ever say about NG is although I love the mixing of modern/futuristic with ancient sometimes the art style doesn't work. A few of the demons end up looking goofy. DMCs art style with NG gameplay would be a dream.
NG2 is definetly not too hard either, Path of the warrior was fine for me. So anyone that isn't a casual gamer should have no trouble with path of the acolyte.
