Not just that, but they only mention it for the one difficulty. How are they in this situation when the game is set to hard or whatever comes after that? Game has 4 difficulty levels right?

Killzone 2 is not CoD4 though, I thought they were going for a different style of gameplay, which is why you would have a cover system.
